Summer brings a more relaxed time around the Invention Studio. The lab is still busy, but filled less with senior design students and more with K-12 groups. It’s always fun doing hands on demonstrations with the kids. Even better is hearing “This is so cool- I want to go to Georgia Tech”. We’re always excited to encourage more students towards engineering.

The Invention Studio is student-run design-build-play space open to all Georgia Tech students. It is staffed by the Undergraduate Lab Instructors, student volunteers who are always on hand to train you and help with your projects. Use of the studio is free, and all majors and years are welcome.

Closings
We will close at 5P on Friday April 26th for the end of the semester. We will reopen on Monday, May 20th at reduced capacity, and be fully open for regular hours Monday, May 27th.
